When control and video share one channel, one jammer takes both. The aircraft must stay commandable even while the video link is under attack.

NV/5
FHSS control modem
A separate frequency-hopping channel so command survives when video does not
NV/5 runs command and telemetry on its own frequency-hopping sub-GHz link, independent of the wideband video channel. Hopping is automatic across the configured band and every frame is AES-256 encrypted.
The command link, on its own band
NV/5 is the command link. One modem flies on the aircraft, one sits in the ground station, and between them runs a frequency-hopping spread-spectrum channel that carries control, telemetry and low-rate data. It is deliberately separate from the video link: the two use different bands, different waveforms and different hardware.
The modem hops automatically across the configured band. A narrowband jammer catches only a fraction of the hops, and the link keeps working with a throughput of up to 300 kbps, enough for control, telemetry and mission data.
Ethernet and UART interfaces connect directly to the flight controller and to ground station software. At 22 g the board adds almost nothing to the airframe. Two SMA ports allow antenna diversity or a connection through the SubGHz booster.

Specifications are subject to change as the product develops. Range and sensitivity figures depend on antenna, installation and RF environment
On the platform
- UART straight to the flight controller telemetry port; Ethernet for IP-based autopilots and ground software.
- Runs simultaneously with the iMOD/NG and DEMOD/NG video link on a different band.
- Ground side: add the Booster SubGHz for extra link margin at long range.
- Band selection (433 or 868 MHz) chosen per mission and regulatory region.
